Hey, I'm Erin!
I moved to Philadelphia in 2004 to attend Temple University, fell in love with the city, and never left. I am a graduate of the Annenberg School of Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media and spent time working in the radio industry in the city before transitioning into other professional spaces. A quick recap of my resume includes time in service industry management (with a focus on craft beer) and corporate marketing. I also spent time working for local animal rescues such as PAWS, and as a contractor for other pet care companies before starting my own.
Pawsitive Vibes Only was born in 2021 out of the post-pandemic need of my service industry colleagues to find access to affordable, trustworthy and competent pet care as well as in memory of our old rescue pittie/mastiff mix Moose. When Moose first moved in with us, we had a difficult time finding care for him due to his size, reactivity and general level of difficulty. I think it’s so important for folks to be able to find supplemental care for their animals, and I promised Moose I would try my hardest to provide that for people. He passed away in January of 2023, and this company is his legacy.
I am certified by the Red Cross for Pet CPR and first-aid. Pawsitive Vibes Only is insured and bonded through Pet Sitter Associates and registered as an LLC in the state of PA with an active Philadelphia business license. We are also members of Pet Sitter International, the Chestnut Hill & Mt. Airy business associations, and we can provide references & referrals as needed.
